The Chalmers are an extraordinary family business. Started by Bruce & Jenni Chalmers with Kim, Tennille and Bart completing the family team.
Their Heathcote vineyard, on the Mt Camel range, managed by Troy is focused on the reduction of environmental impact drought and heat tolerant varieties. The Chalmers family were acknowledged for their contribution to the Australian wine sector by winning the Gourmet traveller viticulturist of the year 2014. who almost single handedly responsible for the introduction and growth of indigenous italian grape varieties suited to the Australian climate. In 2015 instigated and drown the 21st Century Vino event that Sue participated in Melbourne and London.
