Sue & Peter worked together for 9 years in a past life, so ‘get' each other’s peculiarities. Peter planted Tempranillo as a gamble that has definitely paid off, in Sue’s opinion Wrattonbully is the best place in Australia to grow it. Peter Bird won the arthur hoffman trophy for viticulturist of the best wine of show in the Limestone Coast in 2005 with a wine made by Sue when they worked together at Stonehaven.
