A vibrant, juicy wine, released early so you can enjoy its’ youthful beauty.  Barbera has great acidity and tannin so it will live for a while. Grown by Peter Bird and Joe Drew - it recently won a trophy for Best experimental small batch wine at the Limestone Coast Wine Show - Peter was stoked!  He said it was ‘a wonderful surprise and felt personally rewarded for daring to be different & dabbling in a new variety’.  Peter planted this vineyard 20 years ago, so was ahead of his time! 40% Carbonic maceration for 12 days, all natural ferment, old oak puncheons.
