Bellwether started with the release of 2006 Coonawarra Cabernet, followed by 2008 (2007 was a frost year). Sue put away a portion of these two knowing how well they would age. the 2006 still has years to go, a tightly structured savoury Cabernet, the 2008 has mocha notes and creamy and round, drinking superbly now. As a comparison we have selected the 2019 classic blackcurrant and beautifully elegant and very youthful for a six year old wine.
