Community
Coonawarra is an incredible community, with people helping each other every day. You can't pick a bad wine here, we are all friends and you feel very included in a genuine country environment.
We proudly acknowledge the Boandik people who enjoyed the bountiful food supply this once swamp country provided long before colonisation. There are canoe scars evident on many of our ancient eucalypts. As an 1868 shearing shed we also have respect for the generations of hard working shearers who worked here before a grapevine was ever planted in Coonawarra.
As winemakers we are nothing without our growers, we are fussy and only work with the best, they go to a lot of effort to supply us with their best grapes and enjoy the reward of seeing their name proudly on the back label of our wines. It is a symbiotic relationship.
We have also work with some incredible artists, chefs and musicians who all feed and inspire our creativity.
