Our FAVOURITE event returns - a long lunch with lots of laughs, wine, stories and an eye watering judgement of desserts to see which winemaker can win the judges approval with not their wine - but the 'plate' of dessert they bring to the table.

Our MC and guest dessert judge is Max Allen, renowned wine, food and cider expert, writing for the Australian Financial Review among many publications and author of numerous award winning books on wine and community culture. We will have his book about the history of the Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show available on the day.

Winemakers joining Sue Bell this year are Corrina Wright (Oliver's Taranga, McLaren Vale), Kerri Thompson (Wines by KT, Clare Valley), Kim Chalmers (Chalmers, Heathcote and Merbein), Louisa Rose (Yalumba, Barossa Valley), Tessa Brown (Vignerons Schmölzer and Brown, Beechworth) and locals Kate Goodman (Penley Estate, Coonawarra) and Anita Goode (Wangolina, Mount Benson). 

Lunch is cooked by the incredibly talented Clare Falzon, teaming up with local chef Ian Perry.
