The 2017 Bellwether Tamar Chardonnay is from a cool year, picked later, with long fine acid and partial Malo. Hand pruned, hand picked, whole bunch pressed, full solids natural ferment in French oak puncheons.
A tingly, mineral, disprin like freshness - taut and fine. One for aging or can be enjoyed now as a fine example of cold climate Tasmanian Chardonnay.
