Dust off the flares and practice your dance moves, this year with a 70's twist! This year we are joined by Andy Coppard from Lino Ramble in McLaren Vale, Greg Clack from XO wines in the Adelaide Hills, Kirsten Potowski representing Dappled Wines from the Yarra Valley, Belinda Van Eyssen from The Cutting Barossa Valley, Lauren Hansen from Bloomfield Wines in Coonawarra and of course Sue Bell from Bellwether.

Our FAVOURITE event - a long lunch with lots of laughs, wine, stories and the eye watering judgement of desserts to see which winemaker can win the judges approval with not their wine - but their dessert - this year 70's themed.

Our MC is Katie Spain, a beautiful story teller and wine writer with a penchant for dress ups - so wear your best 70's outfit to be in the running to win two tickets to next year's 'Sips in the Sticks'.

Katie will join chef Ian Perry (who is cooking the 70's inspired long lunch) and Jill Mooney from Jill's Vintage to judge the best dessert and best outfit of the day.

Sips in the Sticks started back in 2013 with the CWA catering before the Glen Roy Shearing Shed was renovated. The judging and feedback given by the ladies on the day lead by local food identity Kate Spencer, was brutal and most entertaining to guests.

Some of the winemakers and growers who have joined Sue Bell over the years are Kerri Thompson (Wines by KT, Clare Valley), Corrina Wright (Oliver's Taranga, McLaren Vale), Louisa Rose, (Yalumba, Barossa Valley), Chalmers family (Chalmers, Merbein & Heathcote), Toby Bekkers (Bekkers, McLaren Vale), Anna Hooper (Cape Jaffa, Mount Benson), Jo Marsh (Billy Button, Alpine Valleys), Glen Goodall (Xanadu, Margaret River), Tessa Brown (Vignerons Schmölzer and Brown, Beechworth), Kate Goodman (Penley Estate, Coonawarra),  Ashley Ratcliff (Ricca Terra, Riverland), Anita Goode (Wangolina, Mount Benson) and many more.  You can be assured of a great lunch, a thoughtful line up of wines and a few fun stories along the way.
