Rob Snarski, supported by The Shallow Bores - Thursday 16th May

Regular price $60.00

Rob Snarski is the velvet voiced troubadour and singer of renowned band the 'Black Eyed Susans' - originally meant to be 'holiday band' for members of 'The Triffids', they became a real band in their own right boasting multiple Aria nominations and touring with Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen and Wilco.

Rob launched his solo career with his 'Wounded Bird' album in 2014, followed up with 'Low Fidelity'.  He has most recently been touring with Lindy Morrison and released a a beautiful album of 'Song Gifts' that he put together for people who sent him stories during the pandemic.

There is nothing quite like a night of music at Bellwether - Rob is described as 'smooth and sultry enough to coax life and love back into the most damaged of souls'.

Supporting Rob is locally based musicians Nicola Watson and Chris Clements (also a highly respected artist, a past exhibitor and employee at Bellwether and curator at the Riddoch Art Gallery in Mount Gambier) performing in their first show as 'The Shallow Bores'.
